GTA 6: All Songs from the Extended Look – Complete Playlist with Timestamps

Jason and Lucia in the GTA 6 Extended Look
All songs featured in the GTA 6 Extended Look with artists and timestamps.

Music is almost as much a part of Grand Theft Auto as fast cars, high-speed chases, and an open world to explore. It plays a big role in the new “Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look” too: across roughly 26 minutes, 14 licensed songs can be identified — spanning hip-hop, rock, new wave, Latin music, and electronic.

The Extended Look premiered on August 27, 2026, first on Netflix and then on YouTube six hours later. It features numerous gameplay scenes with Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos in Vice City and the surrounding state of Leonida. The footage was captured on a PlayStation 5.

It won’t be long now until we’re driving through Leonida ourselves and turning on the radio: after several delays, GTA 6 is now set to release on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

All 14 Identified Songs from the GTA 6 Extended Look

If you heard a specific song while watching and want to know what it’s called, you’ll find it in the table below. We’ve sorted the tracks chronologically by when they appear in the Extended Look and added the corresponding scenes.

21:55Mine O’ MineAluna & Jayda GJason walks down the hallway heading to meet Andrés.
25:44Inner LightElderbrook & Bob MosesPlays over the closing shots and the final monologue.

That gives Rockstar a huge range of genres within a single video. Alongside more modern hip-hop from Kodak Black or Sexyy Red, you’ll find classics from Depeche Mode, Def Leppard, Phil Collins, and the Bellamy Brothers. Chimbala and Omega, plus electronic music from Elderbrook and Bob Moses, broaden the selection even further.

The time span is also notable: the oldest identified song is Cliff Richard’s “Devil Woman” from 1976, while “Pound Town” by Sexyy Red and Tay Keith and “Mine O’ Mine” by Aluna and Jayda G both date from 2023. That means the Extended Look spans almost five decades of music. A pure ’80s focus, the kind you might expect from the classic Vice City setting, doesn’t seem to be the direction here.

These Songs Were Already Heard in the GTA 6 Trailers

The Extended Look isn’t the first official GTA 6 material where Rockstar puts music front and center. The two major trailers already had some standout songs of their own.

Trailer 1

  • Love Is a Long Road – Tom Petty

This 1989 song accompanies the first GTA 6 trailer from December 2023, and for a lot of players, it’s probably become inseparable from that first big reveal of Vice City.

Trailer 2

  • Hot Together – The Pointer Sisters
  • Everybody Have Fun Tonight – Wang Chung
  • Child Support – Zenglen
  • Talkin’ to Myself Again – Tammy Wynette

“Hot Together” is the defining song of the second trailer. A few other tracks can also be heard briefly during the driving sequences. Depending on the source, “Thunder Island” by Jay Ferguson is also cited as playing near the start of the trailer. Since Rockstar hasn’t released a complete official tracklist for the trailer, we’re deliberately keeping these identifications separate from a confirmed GTA 6 radio lineup.

Will These Songs Be in the Finished GTA 6?

An important distinction is needed here: the 14 songs listed above can be heard in the official Extended Look. That doesn’t automatically mean they’ll end up playing on GTA 6’s radio stations later on.

Rockstar Games hasn’t released a complete list of radio stations or the licensed soundtrack so far. So it would be premature to call the music from the trailers the final GTA 6 soundtrack.

Still, it’s interesting just how broad the selection in the Extended Look already is. From the Bellamy Brothers in the 1970s to Depeche Mode and Phil Collins, all the way to 2020s hip-hop, completely different decades are represented. On top of that come Latin, country, and electronic influences. That fits a modern Vice City that isn’t locked into a single musical era.
