Silent Hill f – Trophies & Achievements (Platinum Guide, Roadmap & Tips)
Silent Hill f Trophy Guide: All achievements, platinum roadmap and 100 % completion tips.

You want to get the platinum in Silent Hill f or crack all achievements on Xbox/PC? Here you get the complete Trophy Achievement walkthrough including roadmap for 100%, missables, ending requirements and best practices for each run. The guide has a spoiler-free structure and links to the relevant detailed guides if required.

Overview: All trophies & achievements

  • 57 trophies on PlayStation (incl. 1× Platinum) – 1 Platinum, 1 Gold, 9 Silver, 46 Bronze.
  • 56 Achievements on Xbox/PC (Platinum not applicable).
  • Many entries are story-related & not missable, some are missable (time slot/NG+ bound).

Note: For 100% you need several runs (endings & NG+-linked finds). Below you will find a detailed roadmap with run breakdown.

Roadmap to platinum / 100%

  1. Run 1 – Story & Basics: Play relaxed until the first end, collect what you see and get used to dodge & counter windows. Set checkpoints (separate saves) before making big decisions.
  2. Run 2 – NG+ for alternative endings: Target a second and third ending, complete missed side quests and secure missable achievements (see list below).
  3. Run 3 – NG+2 Cleanup: Complete remaining endings, document-related & combat-specific achievements. Include difficulty/time & boss achievements here.
  • Difficulty trophy: Plan a run on Hard or higher (preferably NG+2 if you know everything).
  • Boss special achievements: Time limit & no-hit/special conditions are best completed late in the game.

Important (partially) missable trophies & achievements

  • God Slayer – Defeat Tsukumogami and Kyubi within 10 minutes of the start of the fight (time challenge). Tip: Only place safe 1-2 hits, clear adds immediately, save stamina for dodging.
  • Winners Don’t Do Drugs – Reach the Iwai residence without taking a single capsule and leave the capsules on Shu’s workbench. Plan the path & save healing resources.
  • Where Are You Going? – Pursue the fog enemy in Chapter 12 and catch him 3 times. Don’t pause unnecessarily, open obstacles quickly.
  • Grateful for a Worthy Foe – Complete the game on Hard or higher. NG+ recommended.
  • Puppetmaster – Defeat Tsukumogami without being hit by a single arrow. Roll sideways, ignore illusions, focus on real shape.
  • UFO/Comedy Ending (e.g. “The Great Space Invasion!”) – Read poster/radio clues in correct order & trigger events (NG+ path).

Note: Exactly which chapter/location and which triggers you need can be found in the “Strategies & Setups” section below – plus references to boss & ending guides.

Best setup: Settings, Skills & Equipment

  • Difficulty: If you are planning to go platinum, switch to Hard+ in the last run at the latest (moves and patterns are better then).
  • Stamina management: Always leave a dodge buffer. Many boss moves punish greedy combos.
  • Healing window: Use phase changes, barriers (invulnerability of the boss) and projectile pauses.
  • Inventory: Keep space for story & sidequest items. For no-drug/time trophies, mentally run routes beforehand.

Strategies & setups for key trophies

“God Slayer” – Tsukumogami & Kyubi in < 10 min.

  • Loadout: Focus on damage per hit (burst) instead of long combos; heal for 2-3 uses.
  • Kyubi Arena: Leave glowing puddles immediately (otherwise Bloody Tendrils), clear adds instantly – avoid time wasters.
  • Tsukumogami Arena: Recognize the real figure by the flickering aura, ignore chain illusions, set short hits after teleports.
  • Timer thinking: Don’t play for “perfect”, but for clean, guaranteed hits – every knockdown counts.

“Winners Don’t Do Drugs” – No-Capsule-Run

  • Plan your route: Know your combat peaks, practise evasion windows so that you don’t need an emergency heal.
  • Workbench completion: At the end, actively leave the capsules on Shu’s workbench (don’t forget to interact).

“Where Are You Going?” – Fog Hunt

  • Chapter 12: Focus on movement: Open doors/obstacles immediately, no exploration detours.
  • Catch up 3×: If he is too far away, he despawns – stay on, then all three checks trigger safely.

“Grateful for a Worthy Foe” – Hard passage

  • Recommendation: NG+2, because then you know boss patterns and your equipment fits.
  • Philosophy: Rather 1-2 safe hits, immediate disengages, heals only in clear windows.

“Puppetmaster” – Tsukumogami without an arrow hit

  • Recognize: Arrows announce themselves audibly + minimal advance; roll sideways, not backwards.
  • Pressure: Attack briefly after teleports & projectile series, then distance again.

Ending Trophies (Summary)

  • Story endings: 2-3 regular endings can be reached with decisions/collectibles.
  • Alternative/special: UFO/comedy ending via poster/radio sequence (NG+). Plan this specifically in Run 2/3.

Tip: Use our complete ending solution (linked above) and set chapter saves before critical decisions.

Collectibles & document successes

  • Diaries & documents: Some sets are spread over several rounds (NG+ / NG+2).
  • Strategy: Run 1: take what you can; Run 2: clear missing chapters; Run 3: chapter-bound/NG+-exclusive pieces.
Quick tip: Create a separate save per chapter. This allows you to jump back for missables/endings without losing the whole run.
