With the open-world survival game Smalland: Survive the Wilds, developer Merge Games has released a video game in which you’ll explore the world from a different point of view, shrunken to a small size. You’ll have to defend yourself against enemies like insects, secure your food supply and build a base.
Especially when farming your dwelling and crafting tools or wafers you need different materials. Later in the game you will have to get silk for this. In this guide we will show you where you can find the resource.

Smalland: Survive the Wilds Guide: Finding Silk
To create some items in Smalland: Survive the Wilds you’ll need, among other things, the resource silk. For the acquisition, it is advisable that you first craft yourself a solid armor and a good weapon. To farm silk, you need to go to the northwestern area on the map.
Near the NPC Lisandra is the mountain region along with the caves. There you will meet numerous spiders, which leave their silk cocoons on the Ground. You have to farm the egg-shaped cocoons with flint scissors or a higher level tool and you will get the silk.
For the flint scissors you need 5x fibers, 5x resin, 8x flint and 5x refined wood. Once you have collected these materials, you can get the scissors made at the stonemason.
