German developer Keen Games released a real surprise hit in early 2024 with the survival role-playing game Enshrouded. The video game is currently in the early access phase on Steam and is due to be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at the end of 2024.
To create certain items or blueprints, you have to find NPCs (characters) in the game world as part of a quest. These include the huntress, the blacksmith, the alchemist and the carpenter. In our guide, we show you where to find the farmer’s wife Emily Fray. With their help you can, for example, build the seedbed and more.

Enshrouded: Location Emily Fray the farmer
One of the first people you have to find as part of a quest series in Enshrouded is the farmer’s wife Emily Fray. When you start the quest “Stronger together”, you must find the crypt in which she is located. This is only possible after unlocking the Slayer. The location will be displayed on the map as soon as you have activated the quest. To complete the quest, you need the grappling hook and the glider.
The room in the crypt where the farmer’s wife’s soul is located is locked with a total of three locks. These can only be opened by interacting with three buttons. You will find the first button in a room on the left-hand side. Go down the steps, cross the lava field and avoid the electric spheres.
To get to the second button, you have to jump through the hole in the wall next to the first button. Climb up the ladder and swing to the second button with your grappling hook. From here, turn right and make your way to the roof of the crypt. After overcoming another trap, you will now find the third and final button.

Enshrouded: This is what you get from the farmer’s wife in the survival RPG
Farmer Emily Fray offers you many helpful options, such as the blueprint for the seedbed. You also have access to the oven, farm floor, fireplace, beehive smokehouse, almanac and the fertilized farm floor.
In addition to the useful blueprints, the huntress in Enshrouded also gives you access to new dishes. You can prepare these and receive different buffs for your character for each dish.
