German developer Keen Games released a real surprise hit in early 2024 with the survival role-playing game Enshrouded. The video game is currently in the early access phase on Steam and is due to be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at the end of 2024.
A central point of contact in the game is your own flame altar and your base. For your excursions in the open game world, you will need sufficient provisions or medicine as well as good equipment and weapons. As the game progresses, the resource copper ore becomes increasingly important. However, you won’t find ore on every corner. We show you the best places to find them in our guide.

Enshrouded: These are the best places to find copper ore
Copper ore becomes increasingly important in the later stages of the survival RPG Enshrouded. The ore is relatively soft, easy to shape and yet durable. This makes it very suitable in real life as well as in video games for making structures, equipment or weapons. If you want to farm this, you have to look out for the copper veins. You can recognize them by the brownish rock formations.
Copper can be found in small quantities all over the map. One place to mine copper ore on the map is at the carpenter’s camp. In addition to a few veins of ore, you will also find clay there. Other good places are the Wistful Fields or the cave near Willow Crush. The best place to mine the valuable ore is at Sameth’s Legacy. There you will find a mine filled to the brim with copper ore deposits. The other mines on the map also provide you with a lot of the resource, but you will often have to take out some stronger opponents here.

Enshrouded: You can make these structures and equipment with copper
If you have stocked up on copper ore in Enshrouded, you can use it to produce copper ingots. To do this, you need the ore and coal, whereby you need a total of 20x copper ore and 20x coal for 10x copper ingots.
