At the end of 2023, Studio Wildcard released Ark: Survival Ascended, a new edition of the successful survival hit Ark: Survival Evolved. This has been equipped with gameplay improvements and greatly enhanced graphics. However, the game principle has remained the same: Either alone or with friends, build your own tribe, a base and tame a wide variety of dinosaur species.
In the spiritual successor, modders once again get their money’s worth and can make their own modifications to the survival game available in a revised mod system. In this article, we present the most popular Ark: Survival Ascended mods.
These are the best Ark: Survival Ascended mods
The installation of Ark: Survival Ascended modifications has been greatly simplified by the mod management integrated into the game. You can select these via the main menu and install and update the mods as you wish. Instructions for installing the mod in Ark: SA are therefore not required. Below we present the best and most popular modifications.
Storage+
Storing items or food in your own base is part of every player’s daily business. Storage+ is exactly what you need to optimize and expand your storage. According to the modder, the mod offers more flexibility and efficiency in the organization of items.
Visual Storage
The “Visual Storage” modification makes resource management more realistic. The improved display gives you a good and quick overview of your resources and you can even adjust the display manually.
AP: Death Recovery
A journey across the island in the dino survival game can be quite dangerous. In addition to other players, ravenous dinosaurs also want to get at you. If you lose the battle, you will inevitably lose the contents of your inventory. This can be very annoying, especially with valuable items or equipment. The AP: Death Recovery modification provides a remedy. From level 25, you will receive a Restoration Stone at the place where you died and you can retrieve your items.
Electric Power Amplifier
Are you having problems supplying all your base devices with power and don’t want to keep building and setting up new devices? The “Electric Power Amplifier” mod increases the range of the generator’s electricity and thus provides a remedy.
Shiny! Dinos Ascended
Among connoisseurs and players of the world-famous Pokémon game, the “Shiny! Dinos Ascended” will be particularly popular. This adds particularly colorful shiny versions of the dinosaurs to the game. A T-Rex with rainbow colors would be something … wouldn’t it?

Gryphons
The griffins known from Greek mythology now appear in many fantasy books, series and films. The Gryphons mod brings these popular creatures directly into your game. After installation, you will have two types, the breeding mechanics, a special craft station and the corresponding saddles at your disposal.
Additions Ascended
Additions Ascended is a mod package consisting of seven individual items. This expands the variety of dinosaurs in the game from water dinosaurs to herbivores on land. These include Ceratosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Deinotherium, Deinosuchus, Archleon, Xiphactinus and Helicoprion.
Gaia: Caves Teleporter
With “Gaia: Caves Teleporter”, getting lost in caves is a thing of the past. If you get lost, you can simply use a command to teleport to the entrance of the cave.
Solo Farm mod
The “Solo Farm Mod” modification is particularly aimed at you if you are a single player. The dinosaurs can thus be put into “farm mode”. They then attack until their inventory is full. You can also control this with your own presets, which can be applied to the respective dinosaurs.
Omega Teleporters
The mod “Omega Teleporters” brings special teleporters to your Ark: Survival Ascended gaming experience. The functions are diverse:
- The teleporters can be set as respawn points when you die.
- You can teleport to any built teleporter or other tribe members.
- Send your dinosaurs to the teleporters.
- Change the status to “private” or “for all” or favor them.

Natures Touch
When building your own base in Ark: Survival Ascended, you unfortunately have to remove a lot of the vegetation and the buildings may not blend in seamlessly with nature. With this modification you can build a workbench with which you can produce a variety of trees, bushes or foliage and place them as you wish.
Dinopainter
As the name of this mod already suggests, it makes exactly that possible: After installation, you can change and customize the appearance (skin) of the dinosaurs as you wish.
Better Structures
The provider of this mod advertises that your gaming experience will be more comfortable and will be faster when building. Structures can be placed anywhere and the overall building system is enhanced.
Arkitekt Structures Remastered
“Arkitect Structures Remastered” is an “enhanced vanilla” structure mod. It adds new building parts such as steep and flat roofs and new cosmetic variants of these. Stackable foundations and new functions such as automatic doors are also possible after installation. The Dinofinder
As the name of the mod suggests, it adds a new button that can be used to filter and display the dinosaurs in the game by species, gender or level.
Egg Collector
Egg Collector” makes it much easier for you to collect dinosaur eggs. He collects eggs that have fallen so that they don’t go bad. The passive breeding of eggs is also possible.
