German developer Keen Games released a real surprise hit in early 2024 with the survival role-playing game Enshrouded. The video game is currently in the early access phase on Steam and is due to be released for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S at the end of 2024.
To create certain items or blueprints, you have to find NPCs (characters) in the game world as part of a quest. These include the blacksmith, alchemist, farmer’s wife and carpenter. In our guide, we show you where to find the hunter Athalan Skree. With their help, you can, for example, enlarge your backpack and gain more storage space or make arrows of all kinds.

Enshrouded: Location of the Hunter Athalan Skree
One of the first people you have to find as part of a quest series in Enshrouded is the hunter Athalan Skree. When you start the quest “The hunter becomes the hunted”, you must find the crypt in which she is located. The location will be displayed on the map as soon as you have activated the quest. Bear-like enemies await you in front of the entrance to the crypt, which you must clear out of the way.
If you want to find the hunter, you should have acquired the grappling hook beforehand. You will need this inside to cross lava fields. Once you have overcome all the obstacles, you will enter a large staircase that will lead you to the room where the hunter Athalan Skree awaits you.
Enshrouded: What you get from the hunter in the survival RPG
The hunter Athalan Skree offers you many helpful options, such as making backpacks to increase your inventory. You also get access to many different types of arrows, including the helpful poisonous arrows. If you want to specialize in ranged combat in Enshrouded, the hunter is a good contact. In addition to ranged weapons, you can also make armor pieces that are suitable for ranged combat.
In addition to weapons and armor, the Hunter also gives you access to new blueprints. These include the tanning station for making leather, the hand spindle for linen and the drying rack for making dried fur.
