Thanks to an active modder community, you can now travel the open game world with an AI companion. At the same time, the companions not only stand by your side, but also support you in the fight against your enemies.

Play Hogwarts Legacy using a mod with AI companion
Your journey through the open game world of Hogwarts Leagcy and the countless battles will be solo in the single-player game. Only in some selected quests in the game will you have one of the Hogwarts students by your side.
If you want a companion on your adventures now, modders have now developed something great for the PC version of the game. Thanks to the Companions Mod you can now choose a companion for the journey. You are hardly limited in your choice. For example, you can choose Professor Garlick, who is popular with many players, as your escort.
The mod can be be downloaded for free on NexusMods. The installation is described on the page, but the savegame should be saved outside the game folder beforehand to be on the safe side. The extension of the modder Khione has only recently become available and is in an early stage of development.
If you want a real friend by your side instead of an AI companion in Hogwarts Legacy, you can add a multiplayer-based co-op mode to the game thanks to Modification. We will introduce you to these in more detail in this article.
