The Shiny form of a Pokémon is one of the rarest in the entire video game series. This is a Pokémon that has a different coloring than normal. In the previous versions of the game, they also sparkled. They are very sought after by many players, as these variants are very rare and difficult to obtain.
Typically, the chance of hitting a Shiny Pokémon is only 1 in 4,096. This, of course, makes it a difficult and tedious endeavor to encounter them in the open game world. However, here we present you some ways to increase the chance significantly.

More Shiny Pokémon: Get the Shiny Charm
As a first measure you can get the ingame item Shiny Charm item. With this lucky charm, the chance of meeting an iridescent Pokémon triples to 1 in 1,365. When breeding your companions, the item increases the odds to 1 in 2,048. The effect of this particular item can be additionally increased by other measures. However, in order to get this you need to complete the Paldea Pokédex.
